In August 2024, Grand Traverse County purchased the northern 196-acres of the former Camp Greilick property. with plans to develop the property into the next County park. Staff, along with the Parks and Recreation Commission's Strategic Planning Committee, have developed a draft business plan for the property. The intent of the plan is to describe the property, identify uses, create a timeline for implementation, and discuss financial operations and capital improvement needs

In December 2022, the County issued a Joint Request for Proposals for our Facilities Master Plan, with final bids due Jan 10.
