Preservation Central will also write a history of the region based on the survey results, archival research, and oral histories.
The consultants will give a brief, up-to-date presentation on the survey. Then, they will open the meeting for questions, suggestions, and recommendations on learning more about local contributions to the area’s growth, development, and history.
Your input is essential to understanding and celebrating the little-recognized history of people, neighborhoods, businesses, institutions, and events associated with the Upper West Side.
