General Project Questions
When will the project start?
Utilities will begin the project with a ground breaking on March 31, 2023 and roadwork is anticipated to begin Summer of 2024.
When will the project be complete?
A 30 month construction duration is anticipated. Based on expected scheduling, late 2026 or early 2027 is viewed as the construction completion timeframe.
What will be the speed limit during and after construction?
During construction the posted speed limit will be adjusted/reduced as needed for safety through areas under construction. After the project is complete the initial posted speed will be 45 mph – the same as it is now.
Will the road be open during construction?
The city will require the road contractor to keep the road open to 2 way traffic during construction.
Will the sidewalks be open during construction?
It is planned for pedestrian access be sustained as much as possible during construction.
What will the hours of work be?
Construction will be allowed on weekdays between 7am and 5pm. Work will not be permitted on city holidays.
